HGH Fragment 176-191
The last 16 amino acids of human growth hormone, studied since the 1990s in animal models of fat metabolism.

Level of evidence
Preclinical — cell and animal studiesWhat it is
This peptide reproduces amino acids 176–191 at the C-terminal end of human growth hormone, with a disulfide bond between its two cysteines. It does not reproduce the growth-promoting activity of the full hormone.
State of the research
Work published in the 1990s and 2000s studied its effect on fat metabolism in rodents. Human clinical work was carried out on the related molecule AOD-9604.
